About the Role: 100% Remote - Customer Engineer (GitHub & Azure DevOps Specialist)
Job Title: Customer Engineer (GitHub & Azure DevOps Specialist)
Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced GitHub and Azure DevOps Specialist with a passion for software development and problem-solving in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Agile methodologies, and automation tools.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to enterprise customers on GitHub, Azure DevOps.
- Assist in the design, implementation, and optimization of GitHub and Azure DevOps setups tailored to the specific needs of each client.
- Conduct comprehensive training sessions and workshop for customers, covering best practices, advanced features, and integration techniques.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation of IPs, including guides, tutorials, and troubleshooting resources.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest GitHub and technologies, continuously improving knowledge and skills.
- Participate in customer meetings and provide on-site support when necessary.
- Demonstrate strong accountability and customer obsession.
- Driving troubleshooting and providing clear action plans, follow up to closure.
- Collaborating & partnering with team members internally & externally.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps in an enterprise environment.
- Strong understanding of version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and the Agile methodology
- Experience with the most popular automation tools in the market
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
- Strong experience with GitHub, GitHub Advanced Security, Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, and other development tools.
- Knowledge of cloud computing and infrastructure as code (IaC) principles.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as YAML, PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in GitHub and Azure DevOps in an enterprise environment
- Proficient with version control systems, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile methodology
- Hands-on experience working with the most popular automation tools in the market
- Good problem-solving skills to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to meet with customers and attend industry events
- Ability to create and maintain IaC code standard templates for Azure services
- Strong understanding of repository management, governance models, and advanced security features for code protection and vulnerability management.
Nice to have:
- Knowledge of Kubernetes, AKS (Azure Kubernetes Services), Kubernetes security, Helm Charts, GitOps, Azure cloud platform (IaaS and PaaS)

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between 100K/year - 110K./year. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
